I know I’ve been slacking on the site, but I’ve been concentrating on the working part of it. by the end of the week you should be able to purchase SolarSkateboards in at least 3 core skate shops around the baltimore city and suburbs. I am being choosey, at possibly my own cost, as to what shops should carry SolarSkateboards… and well alot of the big chains can’t even buy local brands… how lame. anyways. haha.. here’s a picture or rather preview of the next deck. art and old skateboards pictures coming soon I promise. for real.

I’m gonna put a bunch of new things up including pictures from the first solar boards of the 70’s… stay tuned should be up by monday. in the mean time, these will be here soon.

Just to get some more stuff on here… a peace I painted at S.O.C while it was still around. Along with my first attempt at screen printing on blanks both are circa 2008.
later they painted over the "skateboards" because they said it was an advertisement... ha no, really?

Wow… I feel some sort of pressure to say something worth while here. But in reality I’m just super pumped to make it this far. I guess having a company was something I wanted since I started skateboarding and thats going on 20 years. Solar was started in 1975 by my grandfather, but I’ll touch on the history in another section. So the ball is rolling I’ll be putting up some updates as much as possible, or whenever there is news to share (note many of these post’s will not be skateboarding related, but will be entertaining.. and some may contain nudity). First run of skateboards sold out I’m waiting on a few reprints, then on to the next graphic. Thats all I won’t rant too much. Here go some pictures all taken by Keith Teket.
